With my Auto Badge Removal Package, I can safely and effectively remove most badges on the exterior of your vehicle, giving it a clean and sleek look.

The Badge Removal Process

1. Cleaning the Area: I start by thoroughly cleaning the area where the badge is located to ensure that no dirt or debris interferes with the removal process.
2. Heating the Badge: Using a heat gun or hair dryer, I carefully heat up the badge and the glue behind it. This softens the glue, making it easier to remove the badge without damaging the paint.
3. Cutting the Glue: Once the glue is heated, I use a specific fishing line to cut through the glue behind the badge. This step requires precision and care to avoid any paint damage.
4. Removing the Badge: After cutting through the glue, I gently remove the badge from the vehicle. Depending on the badge and the condition of the glue, it may come off cleanly, leave behind the glue or just some residue.
5. Cleaning Up: Any remaining glue is removed using an adhesive remover, leaving the paint surface clean and free of any sticky adhesive.

What to Expect

In some cases, especially with older vehicles, the paint around the badge may show signs of oxidation or damage. If this occurs, it may be necessary for some paint correction to restore the immediate area to its near original condition. This process involves compounding and polishing the paint to remove some imperfections and restore its shine. Please keep in mind, when these additional steps occur, additional fees may be necessary.
